About We Romans

I'm Matt Roman, purveyor of information posted here at We Romans. I've been a deli clerk, waiter, bartender, tire changer guy, lawn mower, stand-in paperboy, student, mediocre web designer, salesman, programmer, project manager, executive, husband and father. Although I draw on all aspects of my life for inspiration, the content of this site will probably be restricted to the programmer/project manager parts.

I've started this blog because I believe that myself and the people I work with are doing truly exciting things in he field of software development. We may not be doing completely original things, but we're standing on the shoulders of some pretty progressive giants and we're making our own tweaks along the way. We're developing quality software and quality software teams and we're having fun doing it. In my opinion that's worth writing about.

Some of the topics you can expect to find here are:

  • Software Craftsmanship
  • Team Building
